Formats that follow the layout
The tile portfolio supports standard and project-specific formats, from smaller pieces to larger cut-to-size surfaces. Begin with the actual layout and controlling dimensions. An inch-based tile schedule and a metric module are different production instructions even where the nominal sizes appear similar.
Choose the sample and finish together
Honed, polished, brushed, sandblasted and tumbled treatments are included in the existing tile offering. Discuss availability for the selected stone and use. The finish alters how the color and texture read; approving the raw material alone leaves an important decision unresolved.
Separate wall, floor and outdoor requirements
Show which quantities belong to interior walls, floors or exterior areas. The design team should review the surface and material for each use. Include edge details, installation intentions and the documentation needed before the order is accepted.
Questions for your project
Can the same tile format be used on floors and walls?
The format can be discussed for both locations. Material, thickness, finish and installation requirements must be reviewed separately for the actual application.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Provide the project location, dimensioned drawings, material and finish preferences, quantities and delivery destination. Identify the approvals and any installation scope required.
