A complete column composition

The range includes column shafts, bases and capitals in natural stone. Plain and fluted treatments allow the column to relate to a restrained facade or a more classical elevation. Select the proportions together: a capital cannot be resolved independently of the shaft below it.

Geometry before fabrication

A useful drawing identifies overall height, shaft diameter or width, taper, fluting and the profiles at the base and head. Mark how the stone is segmented and where joints are permitted. Show the adjacent floor and overhead construction so the visible interfaces can be coordinated.

Structure and fixing

Identify whether the stone is decorative, encloses another structure or is intended to participate in a load-bearing design. These cases require different reviews. Structural capacity, support and attachment must be determined by the project engineer; a product name does not establish a structural rating.

Questions for your project

Can the column parts be ordered together?
